How ABA Works
What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific, research-based method that helps individuals with autism develop meaningful skills and reduce problem behaviors. ABA breaks down novel skills into small steps, shown above, giving children real, robust opportunities to learn communication, social, and daily living skills at their own level.
Each child is assessed, then given a specific program built around their particular needs.
With the support of board-certified behavior analysts, parents and caregivers can understand how ABA works, and how it can bring positive change to their child’s life.
